RSU mentor presents paper in regional education conference

ROMBLON State University (RSU) instructor and graduate student at the Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU) Frankie Fran virtually presented a paper during the 3rd Southeast Asian Conference on Education under the auspices of Singapore Management University (SMU) and Singapore Expo and Online on February 10 to 13, 2023.

Fran co-authored the paper titled “Development and Evaluation of Frankards: A Manipulative for Teaching Probability” with adviser Dr. Catherine Vistro-Yu, AdMU professor.

The education conference was co-sponsored by the International Academic Forum (IAFOR) Research Centre, Osaka University and SMU.

IAFOR was founded in Nagoya, Japan in 2009 as a research organization, conference organizer and publisher dedicated to encouraging interdisciplinary discussion, facilitating intercultural awareness and promoting international exchange, principally through educational interaction and academic research.

By creating opportunities for dialogue between academics and thought leaders, IAFOR has become a pioneer in providing the research avenues and visionary development solutions that are necessary in the rapidly emerging globalized world. ANTONIO G. PAPA
