MUSCAT – Bank Muscat, the leading financial services provider in the Sultanate of Oman, participated in the 7th Alumni Day of Sultan Qaboos University, which was held recently under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Dr. Fahd Bin Julanda Al Said the Vice Chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University. The event was attended by a number of dignitaries, alumni, faculty and non-teaching staff of the university as well as bank officials. The Alumni Day stems from the keenness of the university to create an effective communication channel with its alumni, enhance their sense of belonging and offer them a platform to meet and exchange ideas and their professional experience. Bank Muscat has a highly successful, collaborative and long-standing partnership with the Sultan Qaboos University and participated in the Alumni Day in line with its commitment to national initiatives, especially in higher education, which facilitates the country’s progress and development.

During the event, Yasser Salim Tabook, Senior Regional Manager, Bank Muscat, said that Bank Muscat is keen to further strengthen bonds with Sultan Qaboos University and contribute to building Omani talent and human resources. Also, Bank Muscat provides a wide range of world-class products and services to students, faculty and staff at the Sultan Qaboos University. He added that the bank appreciates the special relationship it has with the nation’s leading university and would also continue to further strengthening cooperation and partnership with various government and private sector institutions in the Sultanate.
The bank actively participates in several events at the university every year including job fairs and exhibitions. Every year, the bank also recruits many university graduates to different departments across the bank. The bank is also continuously offering many internship opportunities to college and university students as part of its efforts to help develop Omani human resources to achieve further growth and progress.
